Dundee, Scotland, 3 December 2009: Today it was intimated to Axis-Shield plc that Dr Erling Sundrehagen,Chief Scientific Officer, has sold 100,000 Ordinary shares of 35 pence each at a price of 408 pence per share. After the sale, Dr Sundrehagen's beneficial interest will be 79,645 ordinary shares, 153,800 long term incentive plan award shares and 402,500 medium term share options. This announcement requires to be made on the London Stock Exchange and is repeated in Norway for Oslo Stock Exchange purposes in accordance with the `equivalent information` rule (Rule DTR 2.4).
